![]() I'm not having a problem in normal menus I just found that the pause menu that lets you take some time to look through your route advisor had the problem with the view being swapped. I am using a steering wheel so I use the mouse on the menus typically. I found myself sitting too high and too far back when I used f12 so I used the pause menu and adjusted my seat that way, but it was hard because of the reversed head movement thing. ![]() I hate how it sits right on top of my steering wheel, it ruins the immersion. The mods that don't seem to work for me are the ones that move or modify the route advisor window. I was able to use a few mods like the ones you mentioned now that I think of it. Bit if you're using a controller pad, you can use it for the menu So, I suspect that you're playing with a keyboard or a wheel. ![]() I used one for real company names and one for real gas stations and now one for better sounds, and they work without problems.īut, if I may ask, why do you have to adjust the seat position, when if you press f12 you can reset the oculus position when you want?Īnd another thing, you're using the mouse for navigating the menu. Originally posted by khaoste:I think that depends on what mod you want to use in VR. I've only just started playing the game so maybe this won't be an issue once I get everything set up. I don't use the third person view, I mentioned the problem with the camera in third person because this problem also happens on the pause menu if you want to try and adjust your seat or use the mouse on the navigation window. I think I read that mods from the workshop do not work on the VR beta branch so that might be my issue, I'm going to try modding it by installing the mod myself. I actually am using the Rift and launching with the -oculus modifier. Go into your config.cfg File & make sure (user gtobi is set to (0) & also (user gtrackir is also set to (0). But, why do you need it to work, if the important part of VR visors is to use games like this in first person? First of all after downloading & Installing You Run vorpX configure & on the Gerneral Tab Set your vr device to whatever it is & then in the next box down (Controller) set to Auto. Have you downloaded the patch for VR via the beta tab on your steam library and followed the instruction on the highlighted discussion about VR in this forum?įor the third person views, yes, it doesn't work right. With the oculus I don't have this kind of problems. Originally posted by khaoste:I suppose that you're using a vive, am I right?
